The atmosphere of the 2023 Retired Association reunion

The meeting was attended by the leadership of the school and representatives from the departments and units of the school.

At the meeting, the board of directors of the Retired Association reviewed the work of 2023 and the direction of work for 2024. In 2023, the Association recruited 2 new members, organized activities to visit members when they were sick and mourn, encouraged the families of members with funeral services, presented gifts to celebrate the longevity of elderly members, and organized tours for members. The Retired Association, with the core of its members, has been exemplary and actively participated in activities in the locality where they reside, being a shining example for their children, families, and society. The board of directors also expressed their gratitude for the attention and sharing of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the School to the activities and activities of the association throughout the past time.

At the meeting, the Retirement Association presented gifts to new members, celebrated the birthdays of members, and reorganized the executive board, as well as agreed on the direction and tasks for the work in 2024.

Tiếp đoàn có NGƯT Hoàng Văn Dũng – Hiệu trưởng Nhà trường, các Thầy trong Ban giám hiệu và đại diện lãnh đạo các đơn vị liên quan.

Tập đoàn Vander leun là đơn vị chuyên về hệ thống điện tàu thủy, điển hình như sự hợp tác với Damen Sông Cấm.Thông qua buổi làm việc trực tiếp này hai bên mong muốn có được những thông tin bổ ích, thực tế về hoạt động của Nhà trường và Tập đoàn Vanderleun, từ đó trong giai đoạn tới sớm có sự hợp tác đào tạo, sản xuất giữa hai đơn vị, đó cũng là một hướng phát triển mới trong công tác quan hệ đối ngoại của Nhà trường.

            1. History of the college

– Dates of establishment, decisions and the changing process of the organization as well as the names of the college:

+ On the 8^th June 1965 Minister of Transport signed the Decision no 1523/QD to establish Shipbuilding Mechanical Engineering school, under the management of the Department of Mechanics of Transport Ministry. The school’s authority was to train a source of technical workers for the mechanical schools of transport & national defence with total pupils of 200 per year. 18 months’ training duration ( grade 2/7 ) consists of the following careers: ships’shell manufacture, welding, forging and moulding. In 1970 the school changed its training level into grade 3/7(equivalent to 36 months).

+ On 21^st December 1984 Minister of Transport Ministry signed the Decision No 336/QD-TCCB-LD to handover management authority from the Department of Mechanics to the Ministry of Transport and the school’s name was changed into Ship Building Mechanical Engineering worker school no.1 Whose duty was to train technical workers at grade 3/7 and skilled high level workers at grade 4/7. The total number of pupils were 800 pupils per year.

+ On 27^th August 1992 Minister of Transport Ministry signed the Decision no 336/QD- TCCB- LD to change the school’s name into Technical Professional College of Transport No.2 directly dependent on  the Ministry of Transport.

+ On 6^th September 2004, Minister of Transport Ministry signed the Decision no 2646/QD-BGTVT to establish Central Transport College No.2 basing upon The Technical Professional College of Transport No.2. The college’s duty was to train middle-ranking technical cardes of the specialities as below: ship building techology, civil and industrial electricity, ship machinery maintenance and repairing. The college also trained technical workers at grade 4/7, 3/7 with 8 careers of ships’shell manufacture, welding, turning, electricity, metal working, ship machinery, cars & motorbikes and pipeline assembly technology.

+ On 15^th February 2007 the Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Welfare Ministry signed the Decision no 262/QD- BLDTBXH to establish The Central Vocational College of Transport No2 directly dependent on the Ministry of Transport. The Decision No 1093/QD- BGTVT dated 17^th April 2007 and the Decision No 2816/QD- BGTVT dated 17^th September 2007 of Minister of Transport Ministry defined the duties, authorities and responsibilities as well as organizational structure of the College. Its duties are to train students and pupils at college vocational level, professional secondary level, secondary vocational level and primary vocational level including specialities as ships’shell manufacture, ship welding, industrial and shipping electrictity, electromechanics technology and diesel engine repairing & maitenance, pipeline assembly technology, motorbikes repairing and assembly, turning, metal work in repair, metal work in manufacture, business accounting, business administration, information technology, land machines driving and other careers upon the society demand.

+ Training technical manpower and professional skill at college vocational level, professional secondary level, secondary vocational level and primary vocational level including specialities as ships building, mechanics, diesel engine, electrictity- electronics, cars & motorbikes, land machines driving, business accounting and information technology. Organizing science researches, applying technical progress, transfering technology, combining studying and producing by designing to build new ships up to 3500 tonnes, improving objectives of training programmes, renovating technology, strengthening the materials, upgrading the cardes and teachers’ qualification, training high technical manpower for the country’s industralization and modernization as well as international integration.

– Ho Chi Minh communist youth Union has 06 major faculty youth union branches; 01 branch for young cards and teachers working with other thousands of students and pupils’ branches.

            6. Strategy for the college’s development (vision) to 2020

– Renovating management, enlarging training scale, continuously renovating the contents and teaching methods to upgrade training quality to meet the demand of the society; integrating actively into the region and the world. Training scale to 2020 is up to 15000 students.

– Pushing up the speed of the project for college enlargement; investing modern machines and facilities in training so as to build up a nationally and internationally standardized college.

– Upgrading the current college into a University of Technology in the future.

   (CVCOT) – Implement Plan No 09 dated February 22, 2013 of the Center for Motorcycle Driving Training and Testing Center on the organization of the Center for Teaching Excellence teachers in the academic year 2012-2013. The goal is to exchange experiences, motivate and encourage teachers to study, improve their professional skills and teaching capacity.

   Implement Plan No 09 dated February 22, 2013 of the Center for Motorcycle Driving Training and Testing Center on the organization of the Center for Excellence Teacher Training in the academic year 2012-2013 for the purpose of exchanging experience Experimenting, motivating and encouraging teachers to study and improve their professional qualifications and teaching capacity. To assess the practical and objective teaching capacity of each teacher, to commend and reward in time teachers of teaching methods and the use of equipment and teaching equipment of high efficiency for dissemination and application in The Center also found limited aspects to plan training. From the lecture to select teachers to participate in the teaching of good teachers at the school level.

    At the end of the lecture, there were 05 teachers who had good teachers and were awarded certificates by the Director of the Center, including: Vu Van Khoe – First Prize, Nguyen Tho Nguyen – Second Prize, Nguyen Dinh Tan – the third prize; Consolation Prize: Nguyen Tri Nam and Nguyen Van Ngoc.

    The Center for the Academic Year 2012 – 2013 has achieved encouraging results, this is truly a professional activity of the whole team of teachers, is a practical action meaningful towards the anniversary. Five-year anniversary of the establishment of the Motorized Driving Training and Testing Center.

(CVCOT) – Center for Admissions and Employment Consultancy was established on 10/01/2011 on the basis of strengthening the functions and tasks from the Motor Skills Center of Motor Vehicles Secondary School Second Hand Transport II.

The Center for Foreign Language and Informatics (CVCOT) was set up under the Decision 661 / QĐ-CCTVTW II dated 20 September 2011. It was a newly established center, however, its staffs and teachers Constant effort, effort, creativity in management as well as teaching and high results in enrollment and teaching create a prestigious address for learners.
