On the morning of November 20, 2023, The Central College of Transport No2 held a grand opening ceremony for the 2023-2024 school year and the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2023). The teachers and students of the school were delighted to welcome the following guests to the opening ceremony: Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Director of the Organization Department – Ministry of Transport; Ms. Tran Thi Quynh Trang, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the An Duong District Party Committee; Mr. Tran Hong Quyen, Member of the Party Committee, Office Secretary of the District Party Committee; Mr. Bui Van Khai, Member of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hong Thai commune; Major General Nguyen Minh Tam, Deputy Head of the Technical Department, Military Region 3; Senior Colonel Vu Xuan Hoa, Party Secretary of Factory 81, Technical Department, Military Region 3; representatives of universities, colleges, vocational education and training centers in Hai Phong city and surrounding areas; representatives of businesses and units receiving human resources from the school.

On behalf of the College of Transportation and Communications of the Central II, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of the school; Mr. Dang Van Phi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors; the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the teachers currently working at the school, representatives of students from all classes, and nearly 700 new students from the 17th courses.

After the welcoming art program, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of the School, delivered the opening speech for the 2023-2024 academic year and the 41st anniversary of Vietnam Teacher’s Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2023). The speech summarized the outstanding achievements of the school in the 2022-2023 academic year and outlined the key directions and tasks for the 2023-2024 academic year. With the motto “UNITY – DISCIPLINE – CREATIVITY – INNOVATION – QUALITY”, the teachers and students of The Central College of Transport No2 are determined to fulfill their assigned tasks excellently, continue to achieve many great victories in the new academic year, and lay a solid foundation for the school to soon meet the criteria for a high-quality school according to the approved master plan. Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan also, on behalf of all the staff, teachers, employees, students, and students of the school, expressed his deep gratitude to the concern, direction, coordination, and assistance of the leaders of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the General Department of Vocational Education, local departments and agencies, the People’s Committee of An Duong District, agencies, units, businesses, the concern, support, and creation of conditions of all levels, departments, and units in the past, and at the same time, very much hope to continue to receive the support and assistance of all levels, departments, and units to help teachers and students of the school fulfill their assigned tasks excellently in the 2023-2024 academic year. In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Director of the Organization Department, Ministry of Transport, sent his best wishes on Vietnam Teacher’s Day to teachers, lecturers, former leaders of the School, and current teachers and staff. He praised and recognized the achievements of the College of Transportation and Communications of the Central II, which is a school with a long history, a good teaching and learning atmosphere, and a bright spot in the field of education of the Ministry of Transport. As we enter the new school year, with the tradition of building and development, he believes that with the efforts of the faculty with competence and dedication, the generations of students will be well-trained with skills meeting the occupational standards, The Central College of Transport No2 will soon become a high-quality school according to the government’s planning, providing high-quality human resources for units and enterprises in the transportation sector in particular and enterprises of the country in general, and achieving many high achievements in the 2023-2024 school year and the following years.
