COLLABORATION IN VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO DEVELOP THE YOUNG MAN POWER FOR NIGERIA

(CVCOT) – In order to promote the training co-operation, on the afternoon of March 25, 2014 Nigeria’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Ambassador Mazi Matthias Ojih Okafor led a deligation comprising of Mr. Babatunde A. Nurudeen – Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Wasiu – Representative of FYD and other members on the visit to the college.

On behalf of CVCOT, Msc Hoang Van Dung together with leaders of the CVCOT and Department of International Relations received and worked with the delegation.

The deligation visited the college’s facility and equipment which has been invested for training and  students’ accomodation. The two sides also discussed the training programs to develop the young manpower for Nigeria in workmanship for hull building, welding technology, marine electricity and automobile engineering.

In the coming time, 200 Nigerian students will be sent to CVCOT for vocational training and in the first stage there will be about 100 students. This co-operation has cornfirmed that CVCOT is one of the leading vocational colleges in the implementation of vocational training collaboration with foreign partners.
